We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your information.
1. Who are we?
This app is developed by The Independent Institute for Administration and Civil Society Studies (IIACSS) to collect public opinions on political, economic, and personal topics in Iraq and the Arab world.
2. What do we do?
We are a group of research companies, started in Iraq in 2003 and conducted the first ever poll in Iraqi history. Since then, we continued to be committed to be the real voice of Arabs. We have conducted over 2,5 million interviews and have been affiliated with the main research programs in the world like Arab Barometer, World Value Surveys, and the top academic institutes in the world. IIACSS is the sole representative of GIA ( Gallup International) in Iraq, Lebanon and Jordan
3. What is the intended use of the App
Our goal is to create an easily accessible platform to reach people and collect their opinion on different important matters as part of our mission to make people voice heard.
4. Do you need to register?
No. The app does not require login or registration.
5. What data do we collect?
We collect the following:
• Your survey answers
• IP address
• Device ID
• Device model
• Location (GPS) – only with your permission
6. Is your data anonymous?
Yes. We do not link your responses to your name or account. Data is used only for research.
7. Do we use your location?
Yes, but only to confirm the quality and authenticity of the answers and only if you allow it. You can disable location sharing from your phone settings.
8. Who has access to your data?
Only IIACSS App managers have access to the data and only unanimous data are used and shared with trusted research partners, no personal information are needed or used.
9. Where is data stored?
Securely on Firebase (Google) servers in North America.
10. How long do we keep it?
Data is stored up to a year on the server for research purposes.
11. Do we share your data?
Only survey answers, but only with trusted research partners, and without any personal identifiers to yourself, your identity is not known or shared.
12. Can I remove my data?
Sure, anytime you contact us, and if your data is still used on the server, we can remove it entirely.
